The Evolution of Shes Busy
Shes Busy began its musical journey 35 years ago, originally formed as a trio with sisters Lisa and Selena Wilson, and singer-guitarist Rob Adams. After five years of creating music together, Rob departed, leading to the formation of the duo Dames. The duo soon welcomed Brett Brumby, transforming into a trio that has been performing for three decades. Today, Shes Busy is a six-piece ensemble featuring Ron Ouemette on drums, Ken ‘Duk’ Wilson on bass, Paul Provost on keys, Lisa Wilson Brumby on guitar, percussion, and vocals, Selena Wilson on vocals, and Brett Brumby on guitar and vocals. Specializing in vocal-rich classic rock, the band is known for their engaging performances across Massachusetts, playing 10 to 12 shows annually.
